I used moss stitch in the yoke of this baby sweater. Knit in cotton, finished with vintage buttons, and machine washable to make things easy all around. Fits a baby 6 months to a year. Fall in love! Let me know at akorotkystudio@gmail. com if you have a hankering for this little item!
We’ve prepared loads of beautiful yarn balls so you can jump right in and start Arm Knitting with us tomorrow, Saturday May 10, from 10-2. We will be knitting on the Charlottesville downtown mall so do join us, pick a ball up, and we will show you how easy it is to Arm Knit. You make it and take it away! Two Arms!
Announcing: Two Arms!
Come and play with Andrea Korotky and friends!
Saturday, May 10, 10am-2pm on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville
Join Craft Cville in bringing craft to the masses! This roving performance will combine art, theater, craft, and wonderment with re-purposed materials and our own two arms. We’ll use the technique of arm knitting to literally make public art as we pull in new friends from the downtown mall and weave them into our creations. Learn to arm knit in seconds, help construct a knitted piece, weave pieces and people together, or model the newly created wearable art. All ages welcome for this fun and free event.
These hand and wrist warmers are lovely. The woolen ones, are soft and comforting; the sparkling ones are a lacey and fanciful delight. They are on sale now at Posh. Don’t delay!
Hand knit by Andrea Korotky, of course.
In yellow, blue, and white, these little caps are right for now. Yesterday’s winds made me glad I had mine on. Stretched down over your ears, or rolled up for a jaunty and light-hearted look, these caps are perfect. Lots of other colors are on offer at Posh in Charlottesville. I knit them up for you! Reasonably priced! Go get one and put one on your head. You’ll see!
